Our Story
A Place to Slow Down
Orpido sits on the main road out of Udaipur at Eklingpura, far enough from the city that the noise drops away and the hills take over the view. It was built for the way people around here actually spend a day off — arrive late morning, swim, eat, sit under a tree, stay until the light goes.
The pool is the centre of it. It is genuinely big, it is kept clean, and there is lawn on every side of it rather than concrete. Families take the shaded tables, couples take the far corner, and nobody is asked to move along.
The kitchen is pure vegetarian and cooks the things people want by the pool — pizzas, momos, pasta, chaat, Maggi at any hour. Nothing on the menu is trying to be clever. It is trying to be good, and to come out hot.
